Recap: October 31, 2008

Wow, what a night! A trans-continental Far Cry Friday! We had people from all over the U.S.A., and players from Guam and New Zealand.

It was a slow start, even with our late planned start time, but once our regulars started showing up, the room was rockin'. We saw four Broken Piggy maps, all of which were received well, two Cold Justice maps, one from SILO 5 alpha that got some good repeat play, and one from CrazyUncleDave, where Olympic swimming references were rife. We also snuck in a couple of the better "UbiSoft Recommended" maps -- one set on a dam and another that was a remake of a CoD4 map.

We kept the room open from 8PM to 1:30AM -- over 5 hours of custom map goodness.

I hope everyone had a good time -- we'll be back next week for more! We should see some new maps and will replay the ones y'all liked from this week's session.
