On a Mission from God

Yes, we are kind of putting the band back together.

Far Cry 2 for the Xbox 360 ships on October 21, 2008 and we are going to bring back a long-lost tradition: Far Cry Fridays.

Mark your calendars: Far Cry Fridays return on October 24, 2008 at 7PM CST. For those of you who've never attended an FCF, the overall goal is to share and enjoy user-created maps. You don't have to be a map maker to attend, but we hope to get as many good map makers as we can into the regular sessions.

We are looking to put together a core group of players -- people who want to have some fun together and who have the patience to play on user-created maps.

We haven't seen the game yet, so we don't know how the logistics of sharing maps will work, but we promise we'll apply all we learned from the Far Cry: Instincts days to run the weekly event efficiently.
